Standley Lake is a really great school for people who wish to be a part of a community. Although certain parts of my highschool experience were rough, I believe that many of the people who work and attend Standley are very kidn and helped me through a lot of things. Standley also offered a lot of great academic options and good credit that can be applied in college

I really enjoy Standley Lake. Due to it's location though I do fear safety occasionally. The school lunches are diverse but do make some students feel unwell. As well as many students feel as the portion sizes are not enough to sustain them throughout the day. I do enjoy the teachers and staff, they are what make Standley Lake such an amazing environment. Each teacher plays an important role at my school and I know that without them my academic life would be a lot more confusing .

Overall, the experience at Standley Lake High School has been good. The school has very good extracurricular activities and clubs. The academic classes are amazing due to the higher level classes offered like AP and IB classes. However, I do think the school lacks diversity, there is very little culture in the school.

I transferred here my sophomore year from Ralston Valley. And although Standley Lake isn't perfect, I had a great experience there and I recommend that people come to this school. The theatre program at this school is pretty good for a smaller school. There is a fall play and spring musical, an impr...

This school talks a lot about mental health, but when you actually need support, you’re met with empty words and no real help. It feels like they care more about their image than their students. Most of the teachers either don’t seem to care or are too burned out to put in any real effort. A lot of...

After completing 4 years of mediocre experiences, I'd have to give the school a 6.5/10. Standley Lake High School, like many public schools, had its ups and downs, but overall, the experience felt pretty mediocre. One of the primary reasons is the lack of consistency in the quality of teaching. Some...

First, there is an ELA teacher who had a syllabus stating "late" absences would result in deductions, starting with 10% the first day. My student was absent several days, due to illness, and failed the whole class because the teacher issued an automatic 50% deduction to everything due or assigned du...
