The school is overall very good. Good things include small class sizes, great facilities, and high quality staff. Bad things include a lack of course variety and specialization.

The education is very good here. Due to it's smaller size, students get a lot of one on one with their teachers. The teachers know everyone personally and learn how they can cater to you as a student.

The staff is very kind and most of them really care about your education. There is a slight lack of school spirit at times, but overall the school day is enjoyable. There are many good resources, but the students have some good ideas to improve the school that would really make it better.

I am a 2001 graduate of West Platte High. I attended this school from 1st-12th grade and loved every minute of it! West Platte is a school with a great teacher - student ratio. The teachers are fantastic. Not only do they have superior teaching skills, they also genuinely care about their students....
