Helpful preparation for college and future careers. Many choices for classes depending on what path you'd like to take or try.

Overall I have had a great experience at DCE. The facilities are great and will be better next year with the new indoor sports facility. I owe tons of great experiences to the DCE Band including a trip to California to march in the Rose Parade. Class options are good, they give you many different areas to try out to find your preferred path for the future. It would be nice to have a few more engineering classes available each year as those are a bit limited. DCE is a very supportive school district and I am proud to be an Evergreen.

Teachers are overall extremely passionate about their job. Connection with other students can be difficult at times since our goals may not not align, finding it hard to be free of judgement. Discrimination is apparent but difficult to address as repeated offenses have occurred with little consequences. It can be difficult to feel apart of the team when the only goal is to get high school over with.

DC Everest is one of those schools that isn’t afraid to admit where it falls flat. The school has struggled with addressing mental health issues of students in the past; however, they have been receptive to its students pleas and continued to improve their support. Almost all of the faculty at Evere...

If you are in the Wausau area, do not send your child to DC Everest High School. Homework is not enforced. You either do it or you don't and you are not given consequences if you did not do the homework. Some teachers are very good, the band teacher, Mr Finnegan, English teachers Mr Fike and Ms Kell...

I attended this high school and graduated in 2012. If you are a parent looking for a school to send your child to, then I pray that you don't choose this one. The principle, Tom Johansen, is terrible. In my time I spent attending the school one of the art teachers had retired which left the school w...
