Not the best if you didn’t grow up here. Whiting is very close minded and do not welcome newcomers. The school is worse than military school with a ridiculous discipline mentality. Children with learning disabilities do not stand a chance to thrive here. They pick favorites and if you’re new to town...

They don't work well with children with disabilities. They don't return phone calls. They have clicks and bully the kids. They don't have a good 504 plan or they don't follow it. Whiting Middle School is by far the best schhol. I am moving in a couple months, but I hate to transfer my son. The area, teacher, and kids are great. I am honestly reconsidering the move.
