I found out today that this school was teaching my son about very innapropriate things that should only be taught to a kid in middle school. The teachers and staff at Whitworth genuinely care about my two children who went through there recently. They both grew academically and personally and overall it was a great experience for them attending this school.

The Dallas School District needs to re-evaluate this school and seriously think about what is really going on and what has happened as a result of their decision to make this school 4th 5th only- these are prime ages that need guidance, leadership, and structure. I have volunteered in the Dallas School District since my grandson was in first grade. He has always been a shy and quiet boy but the teachers I have had the privilege of working with at Lyle and Whitworth Schools were simply the best. They really take the time to listen and work with the children....
