In the heart of Wickenburg about 60 miles from central Phoenix, Wickenburg Christian Academy (WCA) is a private faith-based school serving about 140 students in pre-kindergarten through twelfth grade.
As a member of the Association of Christian Schools International, the academy focuses on preparing students to meet their potential in life after school. Here, the core curriculum includes Bible, math, English, history, science, foreign language, apologetics, fine art, and music theory and appreciation.
To encourage critical thinking and well-rounded individuals, WCA also offers a range of elective classes ranging from debate and public speaking to technology and theater. Students can develop leadership skills in student council, sharpen their logic in chess club or express their faith on the Worship Team or in the Youth Alive ministry program.
When it comes to athletics, WCA Lions can compete in interscholastic basketball, swimming, track and field, and volleyball. The academy also offers the fine art of archery. To further encourage active minds, students can explore on educational field trips to Catalina Island in California or Washington, D.C.
To keep students further engaged at school and in the community, the academy hosts spirit weeks, food drives, fundraisers and holiday events so every new day at Wickenburg Christian Academy feels welcome and inspiring.

My kids have been at WCA since kindergarten and preschool - they're now both in high school there, and we couldn't be happier with their progress. Life changing! All four of our kids started at the WCA Preschool, and now range from Kinder to 10th Grade. We are grateful for the daily investment the teachers make to encourage growth ... certainly academic, but more importantly, spiritual and relational.

I can personally say not as a mother but as a student who went to the school in middle school ( I am now 28) that it was below average. I started to go to the Christian academy because I thought I would get more one on one help because I was behind in math from public school however it didn't help....
