Outside of the classroom, more active Wranglers can compete in the school’s extensive athletics program which manages modern sporting facilities on campus. Football and basketball are always big here, but students can also find team spirit in baseball, softball, soccer, wrestling, swimming, golf, cross country, volleyball, track and field and cheer.

my more thought out review got deleted in the process of posting so heres a watered down version. school drives out good teachers with mistreatment. hate crimes and physical harm threats never taken seriously resulting in minority groups to fear going to school and have threats of sexual assault directed at them. funding unfairly goes to sports causing art and music programs to fundraise for money. had to drop music electives since it took a long time for them to find a replacement teacher which resulted in doing nothing for 2 hours straight. no mental health support in any form that is consistent. bad school wouldn't recommend.

I think that Wickenburg is great small town school, but it could have some changes that could make everything a lot better. No money went to any of the art programs. This included choir, theater, band, art class, and even pro foods. More attention needed in those areas. There was alot of racism and homophobia and no one ever stuck up for anything.

Though I met a few of the greatest teachers and students, I feel as though the many of the staff aren't very kind. If you aren't interested in hunting, rodeo, and cowboys it isn't really the school for you. I was discriminated against due to my Type One Diabetes - one of my biggest struggles.

My child just completed their Sophomore year. He is a smart student, but it has been a struggle with this school. The teachers have absolutely no control over their classrooms. I'm always seeing police cars in the parking lot. You'd think that seeing the police cars there would scare the students st...

I attended this high school from 2008-2012. I strongly do NOT recommend it to you. Whether you want your child to excel in academics or athletics, WHS will be sure to crush that dream. It's been years since either the football or boys basketball teams even made the playoffs. There's a rifle club and...

An Excellent School...Wickenburg High School has outstanding academic, athletic, and activities programs. Respectful and hard working students, a positive and safe environment. Caring, good teachers and administrators. I am fortunate to be able to have my children go to this school.
