Palmetto High School has some of the most eccentric and hard working teachers, but the staff and administrators obviously do not try as hard as the teachers. The school culture is know to be toxic and uninviting and the students who participate in sports are very much so favored.

I enjoyed most of my teachers at Palmetto High and I learned in their class. I dislike the lack of options for classes especially for ap classes but I would guess that's normal since it's a small high school.

Palmetto High is a great school. It is a small school with only a graduating class of 200 students. One benefit of a small school in a small town is you know most of the teachers and staff at the school. One of the cons is only offer Spanish as a language. The counselors should give more guidance on scholarships and how to apply. Also, my son needed more guidance on his college credit options in high school.

My son did great at this school. The teachers went above and beyond to show that they care. When we moved up here, my son was struggling. The teachers worked with him and got him excited about school again. Now he is graduating on time and going to college. :)

Palmetto High School puts too much emphasis on sports. Not all children are inclined to be a jock! There are alot of bullies there and the students are encouraged not to take up for themselves because they, as well as the bully, will be punished. My son did have some special teachers last year, in F...

Both of my children attended and graduated from Palmetto High School and both are in college now. Both were involved in extra cirricular activities and were active in sports. We LOVE Palmetto! I do not believe we could have done better with any private school. If I had to do it again, I would not he...
