I graduated from Baker and can say it was the best school I could have gone to for K-8th grade. My cohort was really close and we had so much fun together, especially on our annual camping trips. The teachers were so nice and smart and they taught us in a way that made us love being in school. We all formed really close bonds with our teachers, especially in middle school. The sports at Baker are all really fun too and they have flag football, basketball, track, and soccer. Usually most of the kids in the class play and it's really fun. If you are looking for a school where the teachers care about all of the kids and the kids respect each other - that's Baker. I am definitely going to miss it.

The thing I value most about Baker is that it encourages my children to be joyful. They love going to school every day. Baker helps them to be curious and to love learning, and to find wonder in all they do. Kids remain kids, even in middle school. The school's buddy program, where older kids help care for younger kids, helps them stay young, but also teaches them responsibility for each other. The children are kind to each other and are taught to take care of each other, making the school a safe and fun place for them to grow as learners and as people.

My son has been at Baker for 3 years and is now in Kindergarten and I cannot say enough good things about this school. From the administration down to the schhol secreatry the staff are friendly , helpful and truly care about each and every student. Kindergarten has been a magical experience for him and his teacher is a super star. I cant wait till my baby us old enough to attend!

The teachers did not support remediation in any way. When my child had a math issue we were told to hire a tutor for $150 per hour years ago. My child was not given the option to get into the Latin subject bc we came in at 7th grade. This school is a joke.
