Baker is a gem of a school. We transferred our child to Baker from public school when the public school was failing to keep our child safe so they could focus on learning. The minute we walked through the doors we knew Baker was different... everyone was so welcoming and inclusive... they made our child feel a sense of belonging And safety from the day she walked through the doors for her school tour. The academics are thoughtful and focus on hands on learning...the school activities available are also thoughtful to make sure kids get a well rounded experience. Baker teaches children not to be test takers, but to be life long curious learners. Moving our child to Baker was the best choice we made for our family.

This school is very easy to get into (hence the 95% acceptance rate), but manages to fill each class with hardworking and intelligent students.

The teachers did not support remediation in any way. When my child had a math issue we were told to hire a tutor for $150 per hour years ago. My child was not given the option to get into the Latin subject bc we came in at 7th grade. This school is a joke.

We made the switch to Baker when my daughter was entering 4th grade. The transition was seamless.
