This school pushes student independence, but doesn't give much guidance. The use of the term independence is more of an excuse for many of the teachers and admin to not show compassion or guidance to the students and families. They do not make us feel welcome.

As a teacher of 20 years I can only say that I’ve never in my life seen a school run so poorly after Mr. Sutton left. Fights, non certified “educators”, drugs, sexual promiscuity, and no accountability.

This school has an awesome fine arts program. The athletic department is on the rise.

My son is on his 3rd year at Murray in a EC class. I have enjoyed the staff even though my son has had new teachers every year. With his medical needs the Nurse has been awesome keeping me informed of my sons issues while at school.
