GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

It's very hard to rate the school as a whole because, as with every school, each teacher is different. Some teachers are the best I've ever had and some are the worst. Overall, I have enjoyed my time at Laney.

Attended Laney High School all four years and was overall pretty good. Most teachers were helpful and made me excited to learn.

Overall, it is a good school with plenty of good people. The teachers are very nice and the student body is very diverse, which I like. There are plenty of opportunities to get involved with the school and make friends. Homecoming is the best time of the year because the school spirit is high and spirit week is cool.

This school is not safe for students, teachers and administration! Racial profiling, bullying, and always have their phones out recording ot...

This has been. By far the worst school I have ever stepped foot in. This school is a burden on students health, safety, and education.
