GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

I transferred there my junior year, but I didn't spend that much time on campus anyways since most of my classes were online through dual enrollment. The staff I've interacted with are nice.

I felt challenged in my classes and most the teachers were good and cared about providing students with a good education. Many of the students however did not seem motivated to do well in school.

James Hunt High School is an amazing school just like other schools of course, But what I love most about Hunt High School is that they give you the support and motivation you need to achieve goals you didn't even know you could reach. The teachers are very helpful and encouraging. They each have they're own unique way of teaching us and put their lives on hold just so we can get a education we will never forget. The worst part about the school would probably be that most students see the school as a place where they can just go and act a fool. The school itself is amazing the only bad side I dislike are the students.

Hunt High School is second to none. The administration, staff, students and parents work harmoniously to insure that every student receives an opportunity to succeed and work at their full potential. Like every other school there are obstacles, but we are overcomers. As a former student (Class of 19...

Long after graduating from Hunt myself, and seeing my daughter make her way through, the teachers and staff at Hunt have always made me feel safe and proud.

Hunt High School is an exceptional school. With great leadership and support (from faculty, staff, and parents), it has provided opportunities for the students to excel to their fullest potential. Not only has the school showed the students how to succeed on their own but how to help others when lif...
