My experience at Hunt has not been the worst, but it has also not been the best. Our resources, connections, facilities, and certain art departments are not as strong, but there are good teachers who make lasting connections with students, great counselors who truly want the best for us, and a great AP Capstone program for those looking for rigorous courses.

My experience with the school has been relatively normal, one of the few aspects that I liked was the teachers and how helpful they could be. However, during my freshman year, I saw lots of fights, many students fought each other, and it seemed like the staff was tired of things. While the staff has gotten better there are still some problems with the smoking and fighting.

Overall, I had a decent high school experience here. I found some great friends and met some of the most impactful teachers in my life. I won't say that the school is perfect but a good few of the staff really try their best to make it a good experience for students who are learning to become young adults.

Like every other school there are obstacles, but we are overcomers. As a former student (Class of 19...

Long after graduating from Hunt myself, and seeing my daughter make her way through, the teachers and staff at Hunt have always made me feel safe and proud.
