My overall experience at Barrow Arts & Sciences Academy has been great. The administration is focused on providing the help and resources needed for every student. The teachers not only teach the curriculum in unique ways but also help students learn about real world issues. This past year I put myself in many different situations from becoming class president to joining dance for the first time. I feel that because the school is still fairly new there is a lack of accomplishment sometimes. The school would promise something and never deliver or as class president I would propose something with a group of students and it get shuffled to the side and never happen. If there was one thing I would change or improve it would be to listen to the student body more as well as focus on the important things not the little things in our school community. Overall though BASA is a great school with an amazing environment.

Barrow Arts & Sciences Academy is a great school with a span of differing clubs and activities. The teachers, staff, and faculty are always willing to help students in any way that they can. Due to recent events the school has had to install metal detectors to their security in order to maintain the students' safety.
