The school itself is not bad. The teachers are well-qualified and are helpful. Students and school culture is very negative and unwelcoming.

At Windsor Locks High the teach are amazing. The administration can use some work as they are not as caring for the students.

I would like to see teachers support and motivate their students much more. I do not feel like my teachers take the time to check with students, one on one, to make sure they have all resources available to help them succeed. Many students are afraid to ask for help or simply do not know how. It is the teachers' job to make sure every student has all the help they need to do their best work.

i am a freshman at this school and i am not impressed at all. i used to live in somers ct and comparing the two schools -this one looses. alot of the teachers here are rude and dont take teaching seriously. alot of students get away with alot of stuff while others are treated like they mean nothing....
