My overall experience with Arlington Baptist School had been up and down at times. When I started off in 9th grade coming out of public school I didn't really want to be here. But, once I kind of warmed up to ABS also known Arlington Baptist School they really have a good foundation and good intention with the students.

This is my daughter's first year attending Arlington and my husband and I like it. My daughter came from a public school and we see the difference. I do like that ALL the teachers and administration in the school knows who my child is immediately--she's not just a student. We are struggling with the decision of putting her into another private school but--as we want the best for her, but honestly we are not sure at this time.

My child started kindergarten there and since day one it has been a problem. The teacher seems to not understand that she's teaching 5 yrs old. She has a very harsh tone when redirecting and seem to like embarrassing the kids in front of there peers. As a 5 year old every time will not be a good day. Her time out tallies for whining the second day of school was very discouraging. It was the first two week's and my child never hit bit or hurt anyone but leave it to her to find something wrong with my child. My child was adjusting to a new environment and she mad it even more stressful for my child. It didn't stop there everyday it was something. She expect kindergarten to be a robot. Kindergarten is suppose to be fun learning. This teaching is giving my child anxiety. She sholud differently be teaching another grade. Differently not patience or nurturing enough. I would NOT recommend this school for kindergarten. She's the only teacher.

As an alumni of this school, I can honestly say I highly recommend this school. I was thoroughly prepared for college. The teachers there are willing to help their students by explaining material presented in class. Most of all this school's main focus and curriculum is all Bible-based which encoura...
