The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

It was ok. Was not the best school, but was not the worse. It made me ready and educated for the future not only myself but for many other who I will help educate and support. This school has taught me how to put myself first and understand the importance of being ready and prepared for college and real life decisions. This school provide me with no setback or false expectations.

My experience at Bertie Early College was a great one. The staff and students are nice and filled with school spirit. I have met the most wonderful people here, and getting closer to the staff opened many opportunities for me. The school is very small, so everyone knows each other and it's just like a big family.

I like the close-knit environment of Bertie Early College. It feels like everyone is family and some of the teachers feel like parents. Overall it is a great school, there are a couple of things that need assistance though.
