The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.
The Test Score Rating reflects annual state test results for this school compared with scores statewide.

My time at Bald Eagle Area Junior/Senior High School was amazing. I enjoyed being a student here, and feel I have been around great teachers and friends. The best part about my experience here was that I was able to play sports with great people. The worst part was that we didn't get many snow days as we could have, but looking back it's not a bad thing because we got out of school for the summer on time. I don't think any needs to change.

The teachers definitely know what they are talking about, but I wish there were more course options. I felt that every time when it came to scheduling for the upcoming year, I found myself stuck, not knowing what to pick, because the options were limited. A lot of people enjoy Accounting, Business Law, for some reason Physics, and the music/art classes.

The teachers are very passionate of what they're teaching, and have the experience needed to give students an excellent education, which very important.
My husband, father, and self are all BEA graduates. I had an exceptionally wonderful experience at Bald Eagle, graduating with high honors. My husband was an athlete and did just as well, graduating a few years prior. My father, his class valedictorian, was dual enrolled in vo-tech and honors course...
My experience with this school over the years has been nothing but horrible. They have a terrible bullying issue that is not dealt with well at all, and in many cases there are a handful of teachers that bully as much as some of the kids do. The education is nothing to write home about either...sorr...
The students are well-mannered at BEA, mostly, and the facilities are top-notch. My children graduated from Bald Eagle and I am very pleased with the education they received there, as they all went on to graduate from college and are now successful adults. I think the teachers and the administrators...
