Such a great little school with so much to offer! It's the kind of place you have to see in person! My family has graduated from Gilbert for generations and it really is a wonderful place to learn and grow.

Gilbert School is a community of people whom are all there to watch their peers succeed. Every single student and faculty member know one another just due to being such a small school.

The Gilbert school looks the other way when students are being bullied or harassed and there is no extreme punishment when bullying is being involved. The Gilbert School is a semi private school that has a student exchange program. They offer Latin and mandarin to middle schoolers. All of the teachers really care and take their jobs seriously. My son is so happy at this school. Definitely a bright light in Winsted.
