Overall, Atkins is a great school. My favorite part about it has definitely been taking the engineering classes. My biggest issues are the bathrooms, which are in continual disrepair.

I am a high school senior, and I don't have many fond memories of this school. I have been racially profiled, discriminated against, and academically hindered due to destructive teachings. When I came to this school, I thought that for once I'd be given an honest shot to be an intelligent minority, but I was very incorrect; the administration and faculty both make sure to hinder the minority with lower-level classes that do not teach them what they need to go on. They guarantee that this population feels oppressed and reduced, so they are desensitized to the larger picture. It is your choice to bring your children here, but take my advice when I say they will need a therapist after their time at Atkins Academic & Technology High School, the "nerd heard." Thank you.

My overall experience at Atkins Academic & Technology High School was rigorous but fulfilling. It was a tough adjustment but was one of the best decisions I have ever made. The instructors are realistic in their approaches to teaching. They are always open to answering questions and helping me. I never felt alone at this school. The coursework prepares you for university study. The challenges I faced were completing the honor and advanced placement classes with above average grades. It required consistent study. Also maintaining a healthy social life while prioritizing academic studies was tricky. There are many choices of academic and social extracurricular activities. Atkins is a top rank school in USA. I am so glad I went there.

This is a great school - definitely the best in the county. I received an excellent education here and was able to not only be accepted to top tier schools, but also thrive there. I am not sure what some of the other reviews are talking about. I have two younger siblings at Atkins and they are defin...

Another school that functions more like a prison than a school. Kids aren’t even allowed to use the bathrooms while in class. Minimal breaks for food and exercise. I regret sending my child here.

I'm a current student at Atkins, and I wouldn't recommend it. Because at Atkins it's hard to feel happy, heard, and overall like you can express yourself. I have bad experiences with SMOD my own parents are stressed with the strict code, because my parents cannot buy new clothes every time they make...
