Founded in 1956 by Grace Lutheran Church in downtown Winter Haven, Grace Lutheran School offers Christian education to preschoolers through 8th grade. This well-credentialed institution is a member of the Florida Academic Association of Nonpublic Schools and the Council for American Private Education and is accredited by the Florida-Georgia District of Lutheran Schools and the Cognia National Accreditation Agency. At Grace Lutheran School, students have access to a full range of fine art and music education opportunities, including private vocal and instrumental lessons and class instruction in dance, crafts and drawing. Students also benefit from the latest technology in every classroom, including Polyvision Eno Boards for teaching lessons and Safari Montage Video Servers for educational videos. Each middle school student receives a netbook for each school year. Children who need extra attention will thrive at Grace Lutheran, which prides itself on the various teaching methods employed by its state-certified teachers.
