My experience at Winthrop High School has been a fairly good one. I have felt as though I am getting a solid education. I have had a few questionable teachers, but for every teacher I don't love there is an amazing one who cares deeply for their students. The students at WHS do tend to be cliquey due to the fact that they have known eachother since birth and half of them are related, which can make it difficult for new or transfer students. Though I am not at all a fan of Winthrop Middle School, if you can make it past the three years you spend there, WHS will provide you with a great education.

Young people that needed more time in the classroom because COVID at home learning is impossible for them are being pushed throug...
