GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Sports department expect you to be naturally good and will not make an effort to teach you. Classes are far too simple and need teachers who are able to teach the subject they're assigned to.

I believe this wasn't my best high school experience I could have had, but it wasn't too bad. The academics aren't too good, but it's what you put into it that matters. The teachers are very nice, and I got close with a select few of them!!

My experience at Wood-Ridge High School was similar to a roller coaster. It was filled with ups and downs. Ups definitely includes the fall season. I love volleyball and going to football games. Downs included typical high school drama and there were times I felt academically lost.

I don't like it. The rules make no sense, there is no fun here, and the amount of homework given each night is insane.

The school is clearly rigged with problems, but I believe it is progressively getting better
