GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Eawr is an underperforming school in an area filled with underperformance. There is nothing that makes the school stand out when compared to others in the area. While the staff try their best, it is often a bad environment to be around.

It's a small town school where everyone gets to know each other. Very little bullying but also very "clicky." The main reason it gets a three star rating is that the school itself is very old and many of the facilities are old and not updated.

East Alton school district does not lay down a foundation for kids to succeed in high school or college. They pass them through without necessary skills.
