I attended Forest Park High School during my freshman and sophomore years, and I found it to be a large, modern school with plenty of high-tech resources. Most of my teachers were kind and respectful, so I look back on my time there fondly. I also appreciated the strong sense of community; I still stay in touch with many of my classmates from those years. I've noticed they've added metal detectors recently, which seems like a good step to ensure safety on campus.

Forest Park has been a mostly safe environment, Councilors help, there's a lot of college readiness in helping pick the right college for the students, lots of school history, and traditions.

Forest Park is most obviously not one of the worst high schools out there but it is far from the best. Students here are mostly as rude as the teachers with shoving and pushing always happening in the hallways, eventually leading to severe fights at times. The school got worse every year with my senior year being the most disappointing. I transferred to this school and regret it every time I think about my decision.
