We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

There were some good things about Gateway but some bad. Some good things were the relatiosnhips sports and classes brought me. Some of the teachers I built relationships with. Some bad things however were the food wasn't all that good, some of the teachers picked favorites and were not as fair to other students. Something I wouldv'e liked better is all 8 periods in one day, the block scheduling was so long and was hard to sit through.

The best part about attending Gateway is the diverse experiences that the environment offers. There isn't an objective way to do things and it's highly encouraged to forge interests and individual paths here at Gateway. However, the worst part would probably be the food that I never looked forward to during lunch. Though, this could be commonly said about schools across the nation.

I feel like everything that has happened at gateway is very good and everyone can assure you that gateway is a good and fun school and they also offer programs that other schools don't. One thing that i would change from gateway is that they are sometimes too strict and that causes the kids to get themselves into more trouble, if they change that the school would be amazing.

I’m am I current 9th grader at this school. And it’s pretty below average. The rules are strict for a public school and the counselors are not helpful. The vice principal is rude. And overall the school is harsh. There are fights almost everyday. And the barley any punishments when it comes to the t...

The VERY low scores on the Great! Schools site in just about every category says it all. This school is FAILING to educate our children as they should. The students performed poorly on state tests in years past and they are doing worse now. Instead of improving, they are declining. The students purs...

With my fourth of four children making their way through Gateway and thriving, I would rate it just fine. (The first three were all excepted to good colleges and did very well in college and beyond.) Like all public schools, you gat out what you put in. There are plenty of opportunities to get invol...
