GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

This school is horrendous and I would do anything to take back my education from this dump and learn at another institute. Very few teachers actually care about their students personally. I would advise sending your children to GCIT or another institution after 8th grade so they have some chance at a good education.

I have enjoyed gateway regional high school. I think the honors and ap classes are good, lower level students are sometimes treated unfairly. it is not the most safe school. however the facilities are good for the most part, sports are competitive and fun. there could be more clubs and activities. good school

Some teachers here were fantastic and always did the most for their students, but there were others who couldn't care less about our well-being. The school itself was usually pretty dirty, mainly speaking of the bugs that come from the water in the bathrooms. Overall, I had a fairly good high school experience but most of the staff was not to thank for that.

I’m am I current 9th grader at this school. And it’s pretty below average. The rules are strict for a public school and the counselors are not helpful. The vice principal is rude. And overall the school is harsh. There are fights almost everyday. And the barley any punishments when it comes to the t...

The VERY low scores on the Great! Schools site in just about every category says it all. This school is FAILING to educate our children as they should. The students performed poorly on state tests in years past and they are doing worse now. Instead of improving, they are declining. The students purs...

With my fourth of four children making their way through Gateway and thriving, I would rate it just fine. (The first three were all excepted to good colleges and did very well in college and beyond.) Like all public schools, you gat out what you put in. There are plenty of opportunities to get invol...
