I have lived in Woodland Park my whole life. When I first came to high school I had a great time and knew I was going to really enjoy it. But around my Junior year, we just got a new school board. The new school board is not doing a good job for our school, and they are ruining it for everyone. The teachers are still pushing through with how badly they are being treated and I love them all.

Woodland Park did well at helping students achieve the highest education they wanted. Woodland may be a different experience for everyone but mine was good.

The only thing that really made this school worth it was the fact that I had a background in the district, so most people knew me, and there were a couple of really excellent teachers who actually seemed like they cared about their students.

This school was an amazing place to be, until about two years ago when the new school board came in and changed just about everything with their contentious policies. Now the middle school is combined with the high school, and a majority of the students hate the school they go to. In 4 years I watch...

the school used to be great but then was fallen victim to poor leadership. the halls were covered in beautiful murals and art. kids were allowed to express themselves and cared about learning. then a new school board took over and everyone suffered. teachers, students, everyone.
