My overall experience with Woodrow has been mediocre. The academics have not been the best, as well as the teachers. The administration is very hard to talk to and get a meeting with, and they also are not very involved with the students. I would like to see a change in the counselors, meaning that they actually become easily accessible to the students.

The best parts of my experience, is that there are a lot of classes to choose from for your endorsements. My on regret is not fully looking for these classes.

WWHS has huge potential! Great parent base but could expand involvement by offering more inclusive events. The administration seems to be behind often. High enrollment has stretched the existing resources. WWHS is a great option for DISD.

Coming from private education K-8, the Woodrow experience has been amazing. Woodrow's IB program is allowing kids to excel in liberal arts, the STEM academy is accredited with PLTW, the premier STEM program, The Business academy is NAF certified, and the CAPA academy is famous for it's long traditio...

Woodrow appears to be on the comeback. The boosterism is very encouraging. As a former student I'm heartened by all the good things going on. While the press Woodrow gets these days is very positive I'd warn against believing the school doesn't have a lot of ground to still cover in the quest to bec...

The worst school in discipline. This school prides itself with tradition however student discipline is not applied fairly to all students. You see students skipping all day without consequence. The principal has the worst attitude with parents. Some teachers don't care. If you are not the right colo...

Woodrow is a fantastic HS with a very unique blend of students. Not only do kids get great education, have dedicated, enthusiastic teachers, and a great administration, they also learn about life. All students are welcomed, accepted and encouraged to achieve. I highly recommend this school.
