Offering kindergarten through 12th grade, Cherokee Christian School creates Christ-focused lesson plans in the Reformed Protestant tradition across its primary and secondary school campuses. While scripture is the pillar of a Cherokee Christian education, college preparation is also important. Cherokee Christian students in 11th and 12th grade can get an early start on their college career through Cherokee Christian's dual enrollment program with Toccoa Falls College, a Christian college in North Georgia. Through this program, students may take college-credit classes during high school. With an average SAT score of 1270, approximately 90% of Cherokee Christian School students go on to attend a four-year college. Extracurriculars at Cherokee Christian include the Coding Club, Leadership Council and National Honor Society, as well as football, basketball, cross country and wrestling. We have had our 2 boys at the school for 3 years. Both high school age. We began attending due to the over crowding of the public school. The curriculum is challenging and the student/teacher ratio is low. We have been very impressed with the school so far. I believe both boys will be well prepped for college after graduation.

This school has an amazing christian environment, friendly staff, and a great building. Although on the expensive side, it provides a high standard of education that enriches every student that attends. I will never forget my years at CCS for what it has taught me educationally and spiritually.

This is our first year at CCS ( 6th grade). My kids were enrolled in public school prior to 6th grade. Due to Covid I have not had a whole lot of parental interaction with the school however, the interaction that I have had with ALL the staff at CCS has been a very personable and pleasant experience...

We have had our children at both public and private schools in the area. We have seen it all. CCS has been the only place that we truly believe our children should attend. We ended up regretting enrolling our children here and, looking back, would have enrolled them in public school. We found the administrative leaders of the school to be judgmental and mean-spirited, behind a smile.
