The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Not the best high school in the world, but they offer things like clubs and sports. Best small size band I've ever seen though, I'll give them that. Bathrooms are always dirtier than any random gas station bathroom though.

It was very inclusive however there were times where I felt unsafe in the building. There was a stabbing this past year and that was very unsettling for me. It made me worry for my brothers safety there in the future. I loved all of my teachers there though. The one other thing is I felt like I had a new administrative staff every year during my high school career.

I really liked how the staff at Kent County High School cared for their students, our well being and our success in our education. I would improve the culture in KCHS, their is little diversity and little acceptance to culture change.

The school offers STEM academy, Dual enrollment & Career Pathways. It’s a great school, you just have to do a bit of research for the programs offered.

It is absolutely terrible i am currently searching for a new home so that children do not attend this school in the upcoming year.

My daughter is a graduate of KCHS and in medical school. We are pleased with her experience and she felt prepared for both undergraduate and graduate level classes. This school doesn't get the credit it deserves. We have great kids at KCHS.

My school... Kent County High School. This school is the epidemy of social injustice, the grades are unfair, they do not grade on subject rather behavior, and they care about making a student pass to be on a high school sports team more than they try to help the student trying to go to Harvard.
