I feel Yankton High School has shaped me into the person I am today. The teachers there have influenced me to make the decisions I have and hopefully put me on a path to succeed in life. Lots of the teachers try to do their job to the best of their ability and really care about students and try to have a personal connection with them. I feel they really care about us not just as students but as people and want to see us succeed after we have graduated. Many teachers have had major impacts on me and inspired me to be like them and improve the world.

High school was not for me. I was bullied throughout my sophomore year because of the way I dressed and my interests at the time. Although I had to experience this, I had good friends to help me pull through. I hope that the school can get a better grasp on the bullying situation and how to deal with it.

Yankton High School has a decent amount of students, around 250 students per class. Offers many sports and activities for students of any grade and any interest level.
