The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

I enjoy going to Zalma High School because of the small class sizes. With there only being 17 students in my graduating class, teachers are able to give the students more one on one attention. I do wish that Zalma High School offered more extra curricular activities and more opportunities in school.

I really enjoyed playing highschool sports, I think I would have had the same experience anywhere else though. But the school was zero help getting into colleges.

Zalma is overall just a poor, small town school. There is probably less than 100 students total in grades 9-12. I like the small classes and the one on one with the teachers if you need it. But since there obviously isn't many teachers, there is a huge lack of options in acedemics. I rarely have had an opportunity to choose classes based on my interests or career path.
