"The layouts of the houses are really unique and custom-built. You're not going to get a Cape Cod or mass-produced house here." There aren't many businesses or green spaces here, so residents head to other neighborhoods for shopping, dining and recreation, like Westcott. "It's pretty much all residential," Johnson says. Centro buses and New York State Route 92 make it easy to get around town. "It's definitely a close community," Johnson says. "Everybody knows everybody in Meadowbrook." Meadowbrook streets are lined with single-family homes and manicured lawns peppered by mature oaks and pines. "It's probably one of the city's highest concentrated areas of single-family homes," Johnson says.
