A melting pot west of Philadelphia
Known by residents as “The World in One Place,” Upper Darby is a diverse neighborhood located in the Upper Darby Township west of Philadelphia. “It is a melting pot where people are living and thriving,” says Maureen Ingelsby, former resident and Realtor with Keller Williams Real Estate. “The neighborhood is very welcoming, everyone is active in their churches, and they all support each other through community events.” Upper Darby’s diversity is reflected in the variety of restaurants, shops, and markets within walking distance of most residents. The highly trafficked 69th Street Transportation hub ensures commuters can access the vibrant areas of downtown Philadelphia while being able to retreat to their lively suburban community.
