Betsy did a fabulous job assisting my mother find a home in Kensington. Because my mom is disabled, she was assisted by me and her partner in the home buying process; Betsy showed an incredible level of patience and stakeholder management in dealing with so many "cooks in the kitchen."

She's comfortable proactively engaging with other Realtors and can confidently and competently negotiate in a professional and courteous manner . In fact, her expert negotiation skills were invaluable when it came to navigating several multiple offer situations. We cannot recommend Betsy strongly enough! She handled a very complex transaction for us involving multiple lenders, requiring a complex series of negotiations for the sale's legal and financial hurdles. Betsy helped balance everything with all the prospective buyers and ultimately, the final purchasers. Betsy also helped navigate things between the attorneys and lenders to facilitate the sale. The settlement agency was also very impressed with the speed everything was completed with. They specifically said this type of sale usually takes longer.

Her support team was also instrumental in helping answer questions and managing the detailed and complex process. Everything from pre-listing work to staging and the final sale.

None of this could have happened as smoothly and quickly as it did with any other realtor.

Where Betsy really excelled beyond the process and organizational skills, was her people skills. Her extraordinary patience dealing with my elderly parents helped keep things calm and smooth. She created an instant connection with them and that was incredibly important.

Ms. Betsy is superbly awesome! She is a woman of her word! She knows the ins and outs of her business and understands her clients' needs perfectly. She promised us a move-in into our new home within 30 days and found the perfect dream sanctuary for us in two weeks and we closed in another two weeks.

Betsy also helped us sell our former home of 28 years. Again, her promise was to sell the house within 30 days once it goes on the market. Much work was needed before the house would be ready. True to her word, the reliable contractors she used finished the work in about 20 days, and the house went on the market within 30 days. The house sold within the week!!

Betsy acted as my agent for a recent home purchase. She was a great listener, savvy and knowledgeable, and helped me successfully land my dream home in a highly competitive market. For that, she gets my highest rating.

During our initial contacts by phone and online, Betsy spent a lot of time getting to know me and what I was looking for in a home. She asked lots of good questions, and based on that, set up a personalized search portal that displayed online listings days before they showed up on mainstream sites like Zillow or Redfin. In a highly competitive market, those extra days can really make a difference.

We then started viewing properties in person, and over the course of a few weeks looked at a range of homes. During the visits, Betsy pointed out all sorts of details that I would have missed, and asked probing questions of the sell-side agents when they were present. She was also incredibly knowledgeable about seemingly everything that could possibly relate to homes. I peppered her with questions about all sorts of things: could this fireplace be re-bricked? How much would it cost? Could I knock out or move this wall? This other place without the garage, would I be able to charge an electric car without a ridiculously long cord? And the place with only well water, what would it cost to connect to the public supply? Houses have so many quirks, and so many questions came up, and Betsy knew the answer each and every time. She also seemed familiar with every square inch of Montgomery County. She knew which roads had traffic due to local schools, what the qualities of each neighborhood were like, etc. She's got years of experience as a successful local real estate agent, and it shows.

On our final day of home viewing, I saw two places I loved. They had just come on the market, and I knew by the end of that day I wanted to put a bid in on one of them. Others were thinking the same thing, and Betsy saw that final offers were due in just a few days (!!). We had to act fast, and Betsy knew how. She arranged a pre-inspection for the very next day so I was able to get a thorough vetting of the place before considering a bid. She also connected me with a local mortgage broker (Jeff Novotny at George Mason) who could get things done quickly. The seller was hoping for a fast close, and didn't want to wait 60 days. I was pre-approved with a national bank, but was uncertain if they'd be able to move as quick as the sellers wanted. Jeff matched their terms and guaranteed a close in less than 30 days, which helped me in the eyes of the sellers. With Betsy's help I crafted an offer, and despite multiple other competing bids, I was able to land my dream home! I couldn't have done it without Betsy and all of her help.

If you're looking to buy or sell a home in Montgomery County, I highly recommend you seek out Betsy as your agent. You'll be glad you did.

When we reached out to her a year later after pandemic she remembered us so well and immediately set us on a plan for success. She connected us to financing and was there every step of the way. We loved working with Betsy! Her real estate experience was top notch allowing her to easily guide us through the process. She's a timely and thorough communicator. We spoke with her on a regular basis and she always kept us up to date on where things stood. Whenever we had a question on something she either had the answer or she went to someone who did and got back to us in a timely manner. She's very well connected to resources needed when you're getting ready to sell your home, i.e. painters, mold specialists, etc. and she also has connections with places to donate furniture and help with moving. I think that her strongest skill set though is her negotiation skills. We listed our house early in the pandemic and received an offer in 10 days. We are so thankful to Betsy for selling our Germantown, MD condo in record speed. We live in Oregon, and had been renting out our condo for over 5 years. Our tenant's lease ended on June 15th, and we decided to put the condo on the market. The condo needed to be spruced up before going on the market – Betsy quickly arranged the painting, cleaning, and some needed repair/maintenance work. After looking online for realtors and being skeptical with who to choose in the DC area. Me and my wife found Betsy Taylor. We met at a small coffee shop to see if we were a good fit and then talked about what we want in a house and our expectations. She was very understanding and helped to find the houses we wanted to see. When we toured some houses in the beginning she would pay close attention to the way we felt and our reactions and she began to understand exactly what we were looking for in buying a home. The homes became more tailored to our interest and in great neighborhoods. throughout the month we worked together she was never too busy to help us or respond to us and she always went above and beyond to make sure we were happy. Simply the best! Betsy did an amazing job to sell our home quickly and within price expectations. BetsyTaylor did a fantastic job for us in selling my ex-wife's home in Germantown, MD. We had a special situation in which the owner was to move to the west coast in 30 days. Almost everything in the house was to be left behind. Betsy willingly accepted the challenge to take on the job of arranging for contractors to come in with repair quotes, since the house was in need of repairs and cleaning. She also brought in a special moving/estate sales company to sell and/or donate all of the furnishings and other items that would be left behind. Her performance and that of the contractors and estate sales company was fantastic. The house was listed after the work was completed, which was after the owner vacated the house. Betsy received 7 offers on the property within 24 hours after the house was listed.
