Originally from Raleigh, David has been a property owner on Bald Head Island since 2004, deepening his personal and professional connection to the area.

David's academic background includes a degree in Real Estate and Urban Analysis from Appalachian State University. His career began in Blowing Rock, NC, where he worked as a real estate broker before transitioning into the fuel distribution industry during the early 1980s recession. In 2014, David joined the Bald Head Island Limited Real Estate Sales team, bringing his extensive experience back to the real estate sector. In 2020, Intracoastal Realty acquired the real estate sales and management from the developer. Since then, David has excelled with Intracoastal Realty as a top producer every year. In 2024, he was awarded Agent of the Year with the most individual transactions for Intracoastal Realty, one of the largest firms on the east coast of North Carolina.
