About Maxwell

Maxwell Thompson has been recognized as a top-producing real estate professional for several years. On April 21, 2021, Maxwell represented the buyer for a beachfront Captiva home that sold for $17.15 million, the highest-sold residential home in all of Lee County to date. In 2023, he represented the highest sale in Cape Coral history for $6,063,000. These historic real estate moments were published in several news outlets and social media, recognizing Maxwell's due diligence and expertise in bringing the buyer and his extensive knowledge and professionalism in executing this record-breaking deal.

Before joining Premier Sotheby's International Realty in 2013, he finished in the top 6% of all Prudential Realty agents nationwide in more than 2,000 offices. He has held a Florida real estate license since 1998. Hailing from the mountains of North Carolina (Hendersonville), Maxwell attended college at The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill on a full athletic scholarship. After graduation, he moved to Europe and lived in Paris, Milan, Barcelona, Madrid, Athens, Hamburg and Munich, gaining experience working with different cultures.

For over ten years, Maxwell lived and worked in several countries as a high fashion model for clients such as Ralph Lauren, Armani, Hugo Boss, Versace, Macy's, Saks 5th Avenue, Bloomingdale's, Men's Health, Men's Journal, GQ and others. After he returned to the States, he divided his time between NYC and Miami. After leaving the fashion industry, he became the national sales director for the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) and earned several awards for production and customer service.

He is a member of the Naples Area Board of REALTORS®, the Sanibel & Captiva Islands Association of REALTORS®, the National Association of REALTORS® and the Florida Association of REALTORS®.
