Why Live in Loma del Rey
Loma del Rey is perhaps best known for providing the backdrop to one of television’s most highly regarded shows. “Walter White’s house from "Breaking Bad" is actually in the neighborhood, so tour buses come through here all the time,” says Realtor Stefani Quintana, who has 35 years of real estate experience with Coldwell Banker. “There’s even active security in the area because of how often people come and try to throw pizzas on that roof.” When the cameras are off, however, this neighborhood is revealed to be a north Albuquerque suburb that inspires generational loyalty with its convenience, quietude and sense of community. “I’ve lived here practically my whole life,” Quintana continues. “I went to Madison Middle School on the south side of the area, and so did my kids.
