A towering presence in Lenox Hill
At over 550 feet tall, Trump Palace Condominiums stands as one of the tallest residential buildings on the Upper East Side. Designed by architect Frank Williams and completed in 2009, the 55-story luxury condo tower has become a recognizable part of the Lenox Hill skyline. “It was built before the zoning resolution of ‘94,” says Asher Alcobi, President and CEO of Peter Ashe Brokerage. “So, the building exceeds the 220 feet maximum height that was set.” A series of terraced setbacks and projecting balconies create a textured façade, lending to the building’s distinctive vertical design. The impressive height also yields 275 sunlight-drenched apartments with equally impressive views. “Residents like the type of construction in the building,” Alcobi says. “It’s modern yet very simplistic, with a lot of windows and natural light. And you get the incredible views.” Combined with white-glove services and a comprehensive list of modern amenities, Trump Palace blends luxury living with the charm of one of Manhattan’s most established neighborhoods.
A diverse range of layouts with premium features
Perched atop its extravagant marble and mahogany lobby, the diverse units offer spacious living arrangements. “There’s a lot of variety,” Alcobi says of the apartments. “Sizes range between studios to seven-bedroom units, but every unit is a little different in size and layout.” He adds that the vistas are especially a selling point for buyers: “You get a different amazing view in each room,” he says. “Some look at Central Park, others have the East River.” Residents can take in the breathtaking city and landscapes from their outdoor spaces, as almost every unit features a balcony or terrace. Hardwood floors meet oversized windows and 9-foot ceilings, creating airy rooms with plenty of natural light. Modern amenities throughout most apartments include smart home systems, custom closets and designer fixtures with luxury finishes.
Studios price around $585,000, one-bedroom units list for about $1.1 million and two-bedroom units may list between $1.5 million and $3.8 million. Ranging from 866 to 3,205 square feet, three-bedroom apartments start at $2.65 million and usually include formal dining rooms and multiple private balconies. While full-floor penthouses make up the top floors, the crown jewel of the building is a seven-bedroom unit encompassing approximately 5,100 square feet – which last sold for nearly $14 million. These premium residences feature high-end finishes such as marble bathrooms, chef's kitchens with top-of-the-line appliances and expansive living areas. Common charges typically range from $860 to $4,346.
Luxury services and amenities that deliver comfort and convenience
As a full-service residential tower with a 30-person staff, Trump Palace offers comprehensive services and amenities for effortless living. “The building has exceptional service and an amazing staff,” Alcobi says. “They have four people on a shift at all times; two doormen and two at the concierge desk.” Apart from full-time doorman and concierge services, the building also has a 24-hour porter service for grocery and package delivery. A live-in resident manager tends to immediate needs and maintenance requests. Drivers appreciate the attended indoor parking garage, which connects to the lobby. Storage space is available for residents, and a central laundry room supplements in-unit washers and dryers. The recently renovated exercise and health club has been outfitted with state-of-the-art equipment, including two Peloton bikes and new workout machines. The adjoining garden park and children’s playground provide additional outdoor space and play areas. Pets are not permitted.
Close to culture, shopping and dining in Lenox Hill
“The location of the building is very central and very accessible,” Alcobi says. “Central Park is within walking distance, Madison Avenue shopping is close by, the building is near hospitals and public transportation is a block away, which is crucial for residents.” Luxury boutiques line Madison Avenue and the iconic Bloomingdale’s flagship store is nearby. The area’s diverse culinary scene is also of note, from upscale dining establishments to local eateries like J.G. Melon, known for its classic burgers. Nearby grocery options include Whole Foods Market and Fresh Food Farm. Cultural offerings are abundant, with the Park Avenue Armory and Asia Society and Museum both three blocks away. The Guggenheim Museum, the Met and other institutions that make up Museum Mile are also close by. The neighborhood's appeal extends to its green spaces. St. Catherine's Park, located just a few blocks away, features a playground, basketball courts and picnic areas. The East River Promenade stretches along the waterfront, offering scenic walking and biking paths. For more extensive outdoor recreation, Central Park is a short walk west.
Convenient transportation access nearby
The two closest subway options are the Q line at East 72nd Street and the 6 line at East 68th Street, both a block away. Additional nearby subway stations include the Lexington Avenue stations, which serve the F, N, R and W trains and offer connections to the 4, 5 and 6 lines. Multiple bus routes serve stops along 3rd Avenue, including the M98 and M101, and the M66 stops on East 68th Street. Proximity to FDR Drive and the Queensboro Bridge offers convenient options for drivers.

The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.
