That is why I moved here from downtown,” says Jason Dodd, associate broker with Exit Realty DTC, who lives in the community.

Piney Creek meanders through the area, creating serene waterways, picturesque trails and lush green spaces for locals to explore. Piney Creek Trail maintains paved walking paths along the creek, where morning jogs and evening strolls are daily rituals, offering moments of peace and reflection. Another local favorite is Village Park, where shouts of children on the playground echo through the air, while loved ones celebrate under the pavilion. The renowned Cherry Creek Park is next door, filled with rolling hills and an 880 acre reservoir. “The proximity to Cherry Creek State Park is huge. Exclusive to HOA residents, Piney Creek is also home to multiple parks, spanning 16 acres total. The East Park includes the clubhouse, swimming pool and four tennis courts. Or head to Pioneer Hills, where you can indulge in exquisite South Indian curry at Madera’s Café before knocking off that shopping list at Walmart and The Home Depot. If that isn’t your style, Sprouts Farmers Market and King Scoopers are just outside the neighborhood boundaries along East Smoky Hill Road. For commuters, nearby access to Interstate 25 and 225 makes it easy to travel around central Centennial or downtown Denver.
