The Campus District hosts various cultural and community events. Trinity Cathedral, a 1907 Gothic-style architecture church, offers the annual BrownBag Concert Series featuring different music from jazz to classical. The Wolstein Center at CSU is the place to go for concerts and sporting events, including the CSU basketball team and trade shows. In the summer of 2018, the Bridge that Bridges project finished its mural on the Cedar Avenue and East 22nd Street bridges to spark conversations about racial division in Cleveland. The mural, inspired by talks about race and privilege, was made with help from local artists and organizations, supported by Cuyahoga Arts and Culture and the Sisters of Charity Foundation.
