Southwest Gresham is a neighborhood characterized by its hillside homes, creeks, forested trails, and open green spaces, making it ideal for nature lovers. The area is known for its proximity to the Springwater Corridor Trail, Powell Butte, and Gresham Butte, offering ample opportunities for outdoor activities. The neighborhood features a mix of split-level and ranch-style homes from the 1970s to the 1990s, with large backyards and multi-car driveways. Recent new construction, particularly on the community's west side, includes New Traditional homes with four to five bedrooms, pristine landscaping, and pocket parks. Butler Creek Park serves as a central community hub with athletic fields, a playground, and trails connecting to the Springwater Corridor Trail.
