Founded in the 1960s, the private community of Lake Lakengren was given an Old Norse name that translates to “lake of the emerald-green hills.” Street names like Thor Drive and Valhalla Drive reflect the community's Viking-themed roots. "The boating and the fishing are the main appeals," says Marilyn Haber, a Realtor with Country Mile Realtors who has sold several homes in this neighborhood.
