Country club living in the Northeast Heights, close to the mountains
Tanoan East is a gated community built around a country club. Security staff are on site 24/7. "There isn't really another community that offers what Tanoan does. It's higher-end Albuquerque," says Nichole Aragon, an associate broker with Simply Real Estate. Tanoan East is in Albuquerque's Northeast Heights, about 13 miles from downtown. Tanoan East consists of individual neighborhoods separated from those on the west side by Eubank Boulevard Northeast, a public road. The golf course covers both sides. "The east side is closer to the Sandia Mountains, which is one reason the homes can be a little pricier," Aragon says. Mountain views and nearby foothills hiking trails are some of the highlights.
