Residents here are just a mile from shopping and restaurants and students are slated to attend top-ranked Alexandria Senior High School. “The demographics are a little bit older,” says Carissa McDaniel, a Realtor with EXP, who grew up in Alexandria. “A lot of people have lived there for a very long time, but I’m noticing that they are getting some younger families transitioning in.”

They help homes keep their value.” Three- and four-bedroom homes with less than 3,000 square feet of living space range from $325,000 to $450,000, while larger five-bedroom homes typically cost $550,000 to $650,000. “It’s one of the most expensive neighborhoods in Alexandria,” McDaniel says.
