The main issue would be the traffic. Living near major interstate exits cause for traffic congestion. A lot of locations are very accessible. The area has many major stores as well as boutiques.

Alexandria West is very diverse. There are many small businesses that are worth supporting. I can get my hair done right next door to my house or go across the street to popeyes or dinner. Everything is close together and public transportation makes it easy to get around.
