Thompson Memorial Park, one of Amarillo’s largest parks, is about 4 miles west of the neighborhood. It offers a renovated community pool, disc golf course and walking paths surrounding its fishing ponds. The Amarillo Zoo and Wonderland Amusement, a privately-owned amusement park with more than 30 attractions, calls the green space home.
