The Annual Spring Fling is held in Danville each May, and it has over 200 food and artisan vendors alongside live music. To honor a tradition of “elk tossing” established by early German immigrants in Pennsylvania, the people of Danville gather each winter to toss figures of elk created with burlap and wooden limbs. Each December, the town celebrates the holidays with carriage rides through downtown, visits from Santa and an annual holiday market.
