East John Street is home to local restaurants like JD’s Drive-In, a family-owned and operated walk-up-style burger joint that has served the community for over 40 years. Angel's, 4 blocks northwest, is a casual American spot known for its comfort-style food, which residents enjoy via its all-day breakfast menu. A commerce area borders directly to the east. It is home to stores like Target on South Kensington Drive as well as a Walmart Supercenter and Marshalls off East Camulet Street. For groceries, residents stop at the Pick ‘n Save on the other side of East Camulet.
