Williams credits this growth to the expansion of Atlanta's Beltline and the upcoming FIFA World Cup in 2026, bringing renewed interest to Baker Hills and its surrounding communities.

Front yards have sculpted bushes, and many dwellings feature carports or driveways. Most residences have neutral-toned brick, with some surrounded by white picket fences. Prices range from $190,000 to over $285,000; most properties are two or three bedrooms. Williams says that prices are great for investors, and it's a buyers' market.

Farther along the road, newer spots include Double Scoop Ice Cream Atlanta and DurtyBirds Hot Chicken, with Nashville Hot Chicken and Southern fusion dishes on the menu. Adamsville also has Dollar General and Family Dollar nearby. Wayfield Foods Inc. is a grocery store that's 2 miles away, and Kroger is a 5-mile drive on Cascade Road.
