Neighborhood kids attend Atlanta Public Schools, a large district with over 50,000 students and a B grade on Niche. Miles Intermediate Elementary School has a C rating and a long history dating to the early 1900s when it was the Bethlehem Church School, the first school for Black students in the area. Kindergarteners can start the International Baccalaureate (IB) program, which continues at C-graded Jean Childs Young Middle School. The middle school also features "The Den," focusing on holistic and mental wellness, and a low-cost grocery store in partnership with Goodr Grocery, Inc. The IB program extends to C-graded Mays High School, which also has STEM programs.
