Westside community 10 miles from downtown Atlanta
Baker Hills is a small suburban neighborhood on Atlanta's westside. South of Interstate 20 and close to I-285, Baker Hills sits near industrial areas and highways yet still feels tucked away. Located about 10 miles from downtown, Baker Hills borders Adamsville, where local efforts are being made to help revitalize the area. "The growth in Atlanta has been incredible," says Rahmann Williams, a Realtor with Cox & Company Real Estate who has been selling homes here for over a decade. Williams credits this growth to the expansion of Atlanta's Beltline and the upcoming FIFA World Cup in 2026, bringing renewed interest to Baker Hills and its surrounding communities.
