Hills Park is close to the dining, retail and entertainment of Atlanta's westside
The vibrant amenities of Atlanta's westside surround Hills Park's suburban enclaves. Hills Park is close to a wealth of entertainment, from TopGolf and Atlanta Braves games at Truist Park to popular breweries and Michelin-starred restaurants. "There's so much to do in the area, and it's thriving in infrastructure, dining and retail. There are great restaurants, music venues and unique playgrounds. This area has a lot to offer," says Realtor with Keller Williams Realty Juli St. George. St. George has nearly 10 years of experience selling homes. In addition to its amenities, Hills Park has a range of housing options, a well-rated school pipeline and several popular parks nearby. The community is one of this side of Atlanta's most desirable, offering a relaxed suburban vibe while remaining close to those vibrant commercial areas.

Midcentury homes and contemporary Dupont Commons subdivision
Hills Park can be split into two sections, with two distinct community feels. The neighborhood's eastern side is a little smaller and more established, with homes built between the mid-to-late 20th century. Various styles are showcased here, including Craftsman-style bungalows, ranch-style homes and shingle or brick cottages. Homes are sparsely arranged, connected by dense, woodsy areas that give a sense of privacy. Most homes here are renovated before they come on the market, and prices range between $235,000 and $500,000 depending on the updates. Hills Park's western side primarily encompasses the Dupont Commons subdivision. This desirable community was built in the early-to-mid 2000s and features multi-story homes with contemporary Craftsman, southern Neoclassical-inspired exteriors and Tudor-inspired townhouses. The master-planned Dupont Commons has a swirling layout, with densely constructed homes on tidy lots surrounded by trees. There's a common area available for residents with a clubhouse, pool and small park. Prices for a home here often run between $600,000 and $1.5 million. Dupont Commons does have HOA fees, which typically start at $150 per month. Hills Park is close to a sizeable local railyard, which St. George says is "noisy for those who don't live there, but the locals don't mind it, and it doesn't deter people from buying."
New-traditional style home developments are popping up all over the Hills Park area.
